All four multi-colored cars are at the start, scattered on random positions. Red light changes to green, a signal sounds and … you immediately find yourself in the tail of the column, because in this game you do not need to keep the gas at maximum during the countdown, but press it when the green light is on (well, isn’t it a charming nuance?). But nevertheless, the cavalcade rushes – the track is usually already known to everyone and attention is paid not to recognizing its twists in front in time, but rather to optimally pass them. For what there is nothing more than classic gas, brakes and turns 🙂 At the same time, you can shamelessly push, move menacingly, squeeze into abysses or obstacles, use partners as means to repay inertia – only carefully, since the physical game engine balances very subtly to give the player as many opportunities as possible, but also to fine for abuse.
There are a lot of opportunities for direct physical impact on rivals, there are also many ways to increase mastery, the game process is organized very dynamically, as you and your opponents use all these opportunities (which means that someone constantly turns over, explodes, lights up, flies into the abyss) – and this alone makes the game just wonderful.

But there are also bonuses 🙂 Yes, there are also bonuses – weapons that are funny installed on the roofs of cars (and quite well visually recognized). There are many of them – and each is very individual and how to say … purposefully. That is, it is crystal clear how and when to apply it and your task as a driver becomes to create just such a “situation of application”, to turn the acquired object to your advantage in a very limited time.

We probably won’t list the entire arsenal – but in a nutshell: there are exchange rate machine guns with limited guidance capability (we remind you that there can only be one weapon on a typewriter, but if you want another, you need to reset the old one with a special button), there are homing missiles, there are homing bombers with a huge scattering power in the gap zone, shotgans of side fire, there are oil spills and flamethrowers on the road, pouring a steady stream of flame to everyone who is directly behind your tail. In fact, there are not so many weapons lying around on the tracks that it becomes the main game factor (and often it lies in hard-to-reach places, where you just can’t just drop in) – but still this factor is a significant and certainly very serious increase in fun.

But the most important, perhaps fun factor, is a scheme for organizing races, which consist of rounds, in each of which everyone drives on the same track (and there are different tracks – moreover, according to the conditions, for example, at least and snowy, where riding on ice is very, very felt differently than on normal surfaces), on the same cars (there are many different cars too, but all participants must ride the same cars, this is a rule for honesty). Theoretically, a round can drag on indefinitely (and to prevent this, there is some kind of “forced end mode” that we have not figured out yet) – because the one who scores a certain number of points wins and the points are gained in races, and as positive and negative (!), which allows the player to become a winner, even if he is almost defeated, to turn the tide just like in some kind of arm wrestling, and with an approximate balance of forces, balancing around a draw is a little in the plus, then a little in the red.

But this does not bother at all, but is rather perceived as a fun and very intense struggle, thanks to the organization of the races proper, the course of which varies from short to very fast. Evaluate the idea – there are no endless winding circles, no retention of advantage, and at the same time, the problem with one camera for two or more players is solved (there is no split screen here). It’s simple: someone managed to get ahead so that the camera at the maximum distance could no longer keep everyone in the frame – the leader won, the rest were divided by the positions occupied at that time. Accordingly, you can win by simply destroying all competitors (or they killed themselves :)). With such an accounting system, everything happens in an over-dynamic way, step by step, step by step – tough, strong, energetic. And we must pay tribute to the mind of the car camera – when there are two players, for example, it can get close to the track almost to the auto-simulator view, pleasantly diversifying the entertainment.

Finally – as if knocking out even the general rules of virtuality – this game created for multiplayer literally addictive and with a single passage. Competing with computers is not as interesting as with people, of course, but it’s super-fun and sometimes you even forget that you play with programs, they behave so interestingly and the gameplay is organized so well.
