The Hobbit
It’s interesting, of course, how computer game building patterns prevail over the prototypes that they use to identify well-known brands and good memories :) Could Tolkien, thinking up his halflings,…

Bad Boys II

The already familiar technology in the style of “playing a movie is a little ahead of the picture itself, and then they advertise each other” – obviously, in this case, it kind of crashed: the program appeared much later than the movie went through our screens (or maybe just it the success, and therefore the expediency of the toy, was in question). In this connection, to really establish in the head the connection between events in the computer and in the cinema seems to be a relatively difficult matter. Do you remember what was discussed there in this mid-level action movie, which travels mainly for actors and shootings? We don’t 🙂 In this connection, we can safely recommend forgetting about the prototype film and enjoy the game process on our own – especially since the videos in the game are of terrible quality (technically, what is the meaning), computer characters are not too similar on themselves “in life”, and a miserable story serves the sole purpose of at least somehow linking to each other crazy action episodes that speak Continue reading

ShellShock: Nam’67

From the screenshots, we smiled at the heads stuck on the stakes, and advertising texts promised to flood the monitors with the blood of innocent victims. Colossal cruelty, shocking realism …
In principle, there are enough scenes of violence, sometimes just brutal violence. However, for some reason, the nods do not shake, tears do not obscure the eyes, and nightmares do not interrupt a sweet dream at night. What is the matter? Is your humble one so callous and heartless that the promised super-realistic horrors of war leave him indifferent? Alas, I am calm for my condition. I guarantee that no player from 18 years or more (and it is precisely for such an audience the project with the rating “Mature” is designed) will not get hysterical when he sees the bloody pictures of ShellShock: Nam’67. Well, except from laughter. Continue reading

Codename Panzers: Phase One

Didn’t pay attention how simple everything was before? There were quite specific genres with their canons. All that was required for the production of a solid product was to strictly observe the necessary criteria. In the genre of real-time strategy, the latter was the mandatory resource collection system and one universal tactic “who has more tanks is right.” Today everything has changed. Cloned games, differing from each other only in the appearance of units, are tired of everything, and developers are forced to increase interest in their offspring with all kinds of innovations.
Stormregion has chosen not revolutionary yet, but not yet fully developed way of combining dynamic hot battle worthy of action hits with tactical command of units. At the same time, there is no collection of firewood, gold and oil, followed by the production of the above-mentioned ingredients from the brilliant chrome tanks, as a class. In the end, we are military commanders, not some Continue reading
